In a remarkable display of skill and teamwork, the Chambon-sur-Lignon badminton club dominated the final day of the 2025-2026 Haute-Loire interclubs, held in Langeac on Sunday, February 1. The two teams representing the club, both debutants in the federation’s Division 3, finished first and second in their respective pools.

Team 1: Division 3 Champions

Team 1, comprising Lucie Mounier, Elodie Carbonnel, David Kornig, Corentin Pinard, Erwan Bayle, and Alexandre Moulin, secured first place in the “Accession 2” pool with 21 points. Their triumphant season ensures their promotion to Division 2 next year.

Team 2: Topping the Division 3 ‘Ranking’ Pool

Meanwhile, Team 2, featuring Mathilde Guiltot, Région, Rousset, Eric Proriol, and the same Erwan Bayle and Alexandre Moulin as the first team, finished top of the ‘Ranking’ pool with 18 points. They rose from third place to snatch the victory in their group.
