Saint-Ay. Le Volant Agyle organizes “bad family” Sundays. Le Volant agyle, a badminton club in Saint-Ay, has decided to set up a new form of activity. Once or twice a month, he opens a Sunday slot at the gym, so that his young people can play outside of usual training, and with their parents.

Sunday was the second meeting called “le bad en famille”, both sporting and family friendly. The four courts, set up in the gymnasium, were full. The exchanges, smashes and drop shots, friendly but combative, proved the merits of this initiative, in the spirit of the “Bad and conviviality – bronze” label obtained by the club this year.

Around thirty children, from 7 years old, are licensed to Volant agyle. They train in two age groups. Some are already practicing in competition, like Chloé, 9 years old who, on Sunday, had no problem putting her adult opponents in difficulty.
