Tigers Achieve Historic Ranking
AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women’s tennis team has reached a program milestone, securing the No. 3 ranking in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national rankings. This achievement surpasses the previous program best of No. 4, which was attained on multiple occasions, including February 20, 2025.
Szabo Credits Team’s Dedication
“It is a huge achievement for our program to be ranked third by the ITA,” Auburn head coach Jordan Szabo said. “This team continues to craft program history, and it is a testament to the work ethic of each player and their dedication to the program. We believe that breaking this record is just the beginning of what Auburn women’s tennis plans to achieve this season, and this ranking reflects our belief that we’re a national contender.”
Jordan Szabo, Auburn Head Coach
Szabo was named the head coach in May of 2024, and in his first season, the Tigers tied the program record for most wins in a season with 25, reaching the NCAA Super Regional round for the fifth time in program history.
