Despite the SUV bodywork, Gaydon’s DNA has remained unchanged. Its dimensions they are imposing with a length of 5,039 mm, height of 1,680 mm, width of 1,998 mm (2,220 mm with the mirrors open) while the wheelbase is 3,060 mm and allows for ample space for passengers inside. The huge wheels, which are 22″ as standard but are also available in 23″ as an option, help to lighten the line.

The cockpit is perhaps the one that has undergone the most obvious changes on the Dbx707 model year 2025. The 12.3″ digital dashboard is similar to that of the new Vantage, although larger, while it 10.25″ infotainment screen it is the same and is positioned in the center of the dashboard. Its position, however, is perhaps a little too low and inclined, forcing you to lower your gaze, taking it away from the road. The seats are electrically adjustable and equipped with a ventilation function, both at the front and at the rear. The internal space is large thanks to the notable wheelbase of 3.06 meters and allows you to easily accommodate five adults in maximum comfort. The trunk has a capacity of 638 liters in five-seater configuration.

The beating heart of the Dbx707 is the engine 4.0 V8 biturbo of Amg origin in common with Vantage, which however supplies here 707 HP and 900 Nm of torque. Truly impressive numbers, which require top-notch tuning and electronics to control. Precisely what is present on the British super SUV, starting from refined all-wheel drive system which can send up to 100% of the torque to the rear wheels, making sideways easier and increasing driving pleasure. Compared to the Vantage, here we have a nine-speed automatic transmission with wet clutch, which can of course also be controlled manually via the paddles behind the steering wheel. The suspensions and shock absorbers are new for the 2025 model and are electronically adjustable, with five height levels that allow you to tackle even dirt roads and fords up to 500 mm using the Terrain driving mode. Then present the GT for daily use, Sport and Sport+ for better performance and Individual for maximum customization. The braking system is carbon ceramic with 420 mm discs at the front and 390 mm at the rear.

Like all high-performance SUVs, the Dbx707 is a car that contains multiple souls. It can be a comfortable and silent grand tourer for tackling long journeys in company, but it transforms just as easily into a very fast supercar capable of tackling curves with surprising precision. Without forgetting the four-wheel drive and the ground clearance, which allow it to even tackle off-road terrain. We put it to the test on the winding roads of the Langhe, in the province of Cuneo, where it proved to be at ease and not suffer in the slightest due to its imposing dimensions. In GT mode it turns out relaxed and silentalthough capable of quick responses by pressing on the accelerator: this is the configuration that will be used most during long journeys. Moving on to Sport and even more so to Sport+, the music changes. Even literally: the sound of the V8 becomes much more present in the cockpit, involving the driver more, encouraging him to push even harder on the accelerator to perceive all the available power. THE 900 Nm of torque make themselves felt exiting the hairpin bends: the sprint is searing and the sophisticated electronics must intervene to keep the car under control. Dynamic all-wheel drive and electronic limited slip differential (e-diff)also present on Vantage and Vanquish, help to always guarantee the best driving and safety conditions, without ever being invasive. Ultimately, the Dbx707 really knows how to have fun, hiding its five meters of length and 2,245 kg of weight very well. Of course, we don’t need to look at consumption: the data recorded during the test was 21.5 l/100 km.

In the case of a luxury car like the Aston Martin Dbx707 it makes little sense to talk about fittings: the standard equipment includes everything you expect to find and everything else can be added through the countless customizations.
