Astana, another market coup: Ulissi is coming

Another market move is in sight for Astana, which will be able to count on Chinese capital from 2025: Diego Ulissi is coming next season, as far as Gazzetta has learned. The 35-year-old Tuscan, the only one in the group with at least one win per season since 2010, is out of contract with Uae-Emirates, with whom he has been since 2017 (before that he was with Lampre): his results are still very good – only Vingegaard recently beat him at the Tour of Poland – and it seemed that he would continue with Uae but then Astana intervened, which is very active on the market in this final part of the season. In this regard, Alberto Bettiol’s debut has been defined: the Italian champion, who left Ef during the season and has been with Astana since August 15, will debut with the new colors at the Renewi Tour, in Belgium, from August 28.
