Radford University Athletics is on the hunt for a creative and dynamic leader to fill the role of Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Experience. Reporting to the Deputy Athletics Director, this exciting opportunity requires developing and executing comprehensive marketing, branding, and promotional strategies for all sports, with a strong emphasis on men’s and women’s basketball.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance fan experience at Radford Athletic events and elevate the department’s brand visibility.
• Increase attendance, engagement, and revenue through innovative promotional ideas.
• Oversee game presentation, video board operations, in-game promotions, and supervision of the Spirit Squad and Pep Band.
• Assist with fulfillment of corporate sponsorship agreements to ensure partner satisfaction and retention.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Proven success in collegiate or professional athletics, or related field.
• Skills: Demonstrated success in achieving marketing, branding, and in-game presentation goals, and knowledge of sports marketing, promotions, and fan experience strategies.
