Arunachal’s mother Niting dominated the 3rd Junior State Badminton Tournament with a hat-trick of wins.

Niting and Pansa defeated Chippe Riram and Marmin Uli Lower Siang to win the Men’s U-19 Doubles Championship. Anil Biswakarma and Nabam Komchi of RGUSCB, along with Gotum Sonar and Moses Sanbia of East Kameng shared third place in the U-19 doubles event.

Kamle-born Laa Anu beat East Kamengwan’s Jamba Wai in the final in the girls’ U-19 singles. East Siang’s Amijo Tangu and Kai Panyor’s Jiamar Anya finished third. Chipe Riram and Marmin Uli Chomsam Kungko and Joram Dolo defeated Kay Panyor to win the Men’s U-17 Doubles Championship.

Third place was shared by Anil Biswakarma and Robin Sapham of RGUSCB, Biri Karakoram and Byabang D. Dui of Key Panyor. In the closing ceremony, MLA Lasam Simai gave away the prizes to the winners, which marked the end of the competition.
