Tournament Sees Increased Participation

The Vendée International Basketball Tournament, held in La Roche-sur-Yon, has experienced a surge in popularity, attracting players from beyond the Vendée region. Registrations for the most recent tournament closed over a month prior to the event, signaling strong interest.

Tournament Format Encourages Play

The tournament’s format is designed to maximize playing time for all participants. According to organizers, the structure allows for multiple matches.

Winners were crowned in three tiers: super consolant, consoling, and the main tournament.

Recent Results

The super consolant bracket was won by Lucien and Hélène from Mouilleron-Saint-Germain. The consoling bracket was claimed by Mathieu and Jonathan from the La Jaudonnière club. The main tournament title went to François and Arnaud from the Saint-Lambertois badminton club in Saumur (49).

Looking Ahead to 2027

Organizers have already announced the next tournament, scheduled for March 13, 2027.
