Strong Performance at Andalusian Championship

The Judo Club Tadeo demonstrated exceptional skill and determination at the recent Andalusian Championship, held this weekend for Infant, male and female cadet categories. The competition served as a qualifier for the Spanish Championship, scheduled to take place in Mallorca on April 18 and 19.

The club was represented by a team of thirteen athletes – eight in the children’s category and five in the cadet category – and achieved magnificent results.

Children’s Category Results

Several young athletes from Judo Club Tadeo earned medals and qualified for the next stage:

• Aitana Gallardo Lores (-48 kg): Bronze Medal
• Yeshua Iglesias Rodriguez (-50 kg): Bronze Medal, qualified for the Final
• Sara Sáiz-Esquerra Arias (-63 kg): Bronze Medal
• Paola Diaz Izquierdo (-52 kg): Fifth Place
• Ana Bello Herrera (+63 kg): Fifth Place
• Bruno Castro Suarez (-60 kg): Fifth Place
• Manuel Sánchez Benítez (+66 kg): Fifth Place
• Camilo Espildora Espildora (-42 kg): Ninth Place

Cadet Category Triumphs

The cadet athletes also showcased impressive performances, with several securing top positions:

• Africa Cristóbal Sáenz (-44 kg): Gold Medal, qualified as 1st Andalusian ranking
• Matthew Iglesias Rodríguez (-55 kg): Gold Medal, classified 1st National Ranking
• Diego Sánchez de la Campa Chanivet (+90 kg): Bronze Medal
• Alexander Bely (-81 kg): Seventh Place
• Pablo Jiménez Morales (-66 kg): Seventh Place

Coaching and Officiating

The success of the Judo Club Tadeo athletes was supported by coaches Iluminada Díaz Valle and Milagros Diaz Valle. Juan Carlos Caro López served as the referee during the competition.
