Paraguay took a point from Bolivia this Tuesday with goals from Miguel Almirón and Julio Enciso that sealed a 2-2 draw in the La Verde fort at more than 4,000 meters of altitude.

The Bolivian goals were scored by Ervin Vaca (m.15) y Miguel Terceros penalty (m.80), while Almiron scored in the 71st minute and Enciso in ’91, in the match on the twelfth day of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The tie left Paraguay in fifth place with the same 17 points as Brazil, and Bolivia in seventh with 13 pending the development of the other matches of the day.
Bolivia had more control of the ball in the first minutes, although they ran into a tight Guaraní defense that sought to take advantage of some spaces to steal balls and send them on the counterattack.
