Who will be the Most Valuable Player of the season in EuroLeague Basketball?
In a BasketNews poll of the general managers of the teams playing in the continent’s strongest club tournament, two have the best chances.
One is Alexander Vezenkov. The Bulgarian star of “Olympiakos” received 30.8% of the votes – the same as the American of “Panathinaikos” Kendrick Nunn. Our athlete was already MVP in the season when he and his team reached the final and remained one point away from the title.
However, Vezenkov, without competition, is at the top of the ranking (50%) who will be the best among the returnees from the National Basketball Association. Alexander preferred to return to Greece after a not very successful season in “Sacramento” and reluctance to move to “Toronto”.
With 46.2% of the votes, champion Panathinaikos is #1 in the title predictions, followed by Fenerbahce and Olympiakos.
Vezenkov and his teammates are already in Turkey, where tomorrow evening they will play their first game of the new season with Fenerbahçe.
