Alex Marquez Sets the Pace in FP1
Alex Marquez kicked off the MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix weekend by topping the timesheets in the morning’s FP1 session at Jerez. The Gresini Ducati rider set a time of 1:36.831, edging out brother Marc by just 0.357 seconds.
Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) completed the top three, with Maverick Vinales (KTM) and Joan Mir (Honda) rounding out the top five.
Marc Marquez Returns, Finishes Second
In his first session back since injury, Marc Marquez returned to form with a strong second-place finish. The eight-time world champion will look to build on this performance in the remaining practice sessions and qualifying.
