Dhaka Capitals started with the wicket of Rakim Cornwall on the first ball. Sylhet Strikers did not lose another wicket in the second over. After Zakir Hasan’s storm, Ariful Haque’s explosive innings saw the first win for the franchise in the country of tea, standing on the foundation built by Rony Talukder.
Dhaka won the toss and went into bat at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Friday scoring 193 runs for 6 wickets. Sylhet secured a 3-wicket win with 8 balls to chase. Khaled Mahmud Sujan’s disciples left the field with the taste of defeat in six consecutive matches. On the other hand, Ariful’s team got two points in the fourth match.
