After Colo-Colo did not respect a previous agreement to renew the relationship with the player for another year, César Fuentes could return to Rancagua.

The player, born and raised in the light blue quarry, and who with the O’Higgins shirt won the 2013 national title and the 2014 Super Cup, is in the orbit of the Rancagüino team.

A couple of weeks before the end of the National Tournament, Fuentes was already contacted by Capo managers to see his contractual position, but he was waiting for Blanco y Negro’s decision. And, as the non-continuity was determined on Wednesday, Fuentes became a free agent.

Already recovered from the serious injury he suffered at the beginning of 2023, César Fuentes welcomes returning home. The midfielder, who can also play in other positions at the back, still has a lot to contribute, considering that he is only 31 years old.

It must be noted that the footballer has not only titles with O’Higgins, but also won cups with Universidad Católica and Cacique.
