Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, added a new feather to its cap when North Eastern Railway’s General Manager, Soumya Mathur, inaugurated the first international standard lawn tennis court in Purvanchal at the Syed Modi Railway Stadium. “This court was completed in a surprisingly short time and is the first of its kind here. I am hopeful that top Indian tennis players will emerge from this region,” said Mathur during the inauguration.
