Cal Women’s Golf: Two Bears soar into Top 10 as Team Keeps Pace at ACC Championships
GREENSBORO, N.C. — With two Golden Bears in the top 10 after two rounds, the California women’s golf team is well-positioned in sixth place heading into the final round of stroke play at the 2025 ACC Championship.
Bears Dig Deep into Top Tiers
Sophomore Constance Fouillet heads into the final day tied for fourth place, the only Bear in the top five after 36 holes on the par-72, 6092-yard course at Sedgefield Country Club. At 5-under par, Fouillet and a trio of competitors have their sights set on contending for individual glory.
Joining her in the top 10 is senior Kaylyn Noh, who shares the 10th spot at even-par. Noh’s consistent play has been a pillar of strength for the Bears throughout the tournament.
Cal Eyeing Match Play Berth
The top six teams after Thursday’s final round will advance to match play, starting Friday. The Bears occupy sixth spot, just two strokes behind Louisville and within striking distance of fourth place, shared by Wake Forest and North Carolina.
Cal’s charge featured a comeback in the first round,卡 recess that saw them card 12 birdies on the back-nine after a slow start on the front-nine. They built on that momentum in the second round, climbing as high as third before closing the day in sixth.
