The 57th edition of the South American Youth Golf Championship concluded with a resounding success, marking a triumphant return to the Paraná Country Hernandarias Club after a 40-year hiatus. Colombia dominated the team categories, while Paraguay’s Victoria Livieres stole the show in the individual female competition.
Colombia’s Dominance in Team Categories
Colombia’s triumph was particularly impressive in both the male and female team categories. The Colombian men’s team revalidated their title with a total of 589 strokes (+13). Led by Tomás Restrepo, the individual champion, along with Santiago Russi and Samuel González, the Colombian team showcased their skill and consistency throughout the four-day competition.

Bolivia Makes History in Mixed Teams
In the mixed competition, Bolivia 1 achieved a historic victory by winning the championship with a total of 594 strokes (+18). The team consisted of Sofia Blanco and Vicente Quiroga. Paraguay 1, represented by Victoria Livieres and Ezequiel Cabrera, secured the third place with 595 strokes (+19), just one stroke behind the Bolivian team.
