The Sakura Club took seven medals in the last two competitions
The Sakura judo Club of Torrejón de Ardoz ended 2024 celebrating new successes for its athletes in the last two competitions of the Spanish Cup that took place in Barbastro (Huesca) and in Granadilla (Tenerife), achieving a total of seven medals, two of gold, three of silver and two of bronze.
Firstly, in the Spanish Cup held in Barbastro on November 16 and 17, Claudia Juan won the gold medal in the children’s category -48 kilos, while Arantxa Agüero won silver in the same category -36 kilos.
On the other hand, in the Spanish Cup that took place in Granadilla on December 14, Claudia Juan and Arantxa Agüero repeated on the podium in the same positions, winning gold and silver respectively in -48 kilos and -36 kilos. In addition, Óscar Manso was runner-up in the cadet category -66 kilos; Sandra Manso was bronze, also in cadet -52 kilos; and completed the successes of the Valeria Gallardo Torrejonero club with a third place in the children’s category -48 kilos.
