This game has traditionally taken place every year since 2015. A total of nine matches were played, and according to the results of previous meetings, the score was 5:4 in favor of Olimpia. In 2024, this game took on special significance for both teams. After all, this game is an anniversary!
The game started with a slight advantage for MFK Slavgorod, and by the 10th minute the players were leading with a score of 2:1. However, young players Evgeniy Starovoitov and Nazar Tsimbalist, who joined Olimpia’s ranks, were able to change the situation on the field, and by the end of the first half Olimpia was leading with a score of 6:2.
During the break of the match, the students of the Youth Sports School played a fight in the 5×5 format for 5 minutes. Their game was highly appreciated by both adult football players and spectators.
The second half took place in a tense struggle between principle rivals from the same city. The final score at the end of the game was in favor of Olimpia – 11:5. In general matches, Olimpia remains ahead with a two-win advantage (6:4).
The best players of the match were: Andrey Prodolyatchenko (forward), Ivan Hurtak (defender) and Dmitry Karzyukov (goalkeeper). They were awarded nice prizes, and children and youth sports schools received sweet gifts. The director of the center for physical culture and health work of the Slavgorod region, Pavel Zaretsky, presented the Slavgorod Derby challenge cup.

Amateur football players of the Olimpia MFC, having won this match, proved that their main players: Vitaly Ilyenkov, Vladimir Novikov, Artem Savelyev and Sergey Mironov, it was not for nothing that they became bronze medalists in the regional sports competition of centers, sports and recreation clubs in mini-football in 2024, which was previously held in the city of Bykhov. The team represented the Slavgorod national team under the auspices of the Slavgorod CFOR.
The participation of Slavgorod amateur football players in various competitions not only strengthens their physical health and unites youth, but also develops football and creates the preconditions for achieving high results in the regional championship.
