The best regional players in the sub’11, sub’13 and sub’19 categories will meet in Lanzarote this weekend, taking part in the Canary Islands Badminton Championships and a huge Auria Badminton representative. The competition will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the IES Blas Cabrera Felipe Pavilion, in Arecife.

Auria Badminton Club has the largest representation in the Under 11 category, with up to 6 players from the club. Guillermo Padron, Isaac Rincón, Kaiwen Shi, Alvaro Guadalupe, Hugo de la Paz Paradas and Jacob Lopez are the 6 players participating in the Under-11 category, which will be developed by division and main draw system.

Neria Padron and Yaraya Garcia are the two players from Oria Badminton Club who will participate in the Canary Islands Championship in the under-13 category. A category that builds on a straight elimination system and in addition both players form a pair in the women’s doubles modal.

The participation of Oriya Badminton Club ended with the participation of 6 players under 19 years of age. Martina Negrin, Graciela Mugler, Adrienne Carabali, Xie Tao Li, Ruben Jorge and Rachel Belter will represent the club at the IES Blas Cabrera Felipe tournament. This category is made up of a direct elimination system, with Adrian Carabali in the men’s group starting in the fourth seed.

Miguel Barbado, Jorge Oliverio Perez and Oliver Gausman will play the role of coaches during the development of the Canary Islands Badminton Championship U11, U13 and U19 and will be with the players during the two days of competition. Auria Badminton Club.
