Positive weekend for the red and white youth teams, who achieved two victories in three matches: convincing achievements for the Under 19 (in the photo) and the Under 17, while the Under 15 debuted with a defeat in the championship, falling on the pitch of Virtus Bologna (15 points for Baccosi, top scorer from Reggio Emilia).
The Under 19 team, led by coach Rossetti, opened their home debut with a great victory, after two initial battles. The game against Stars Bologna ended 114-65, with five Reggio players in double figures: Deme led the team with 20 points, followed by Suljanovic’s 18, Luca Manfredotti and Selva’s 17, and Lorenzo Lusetti’s 14. UNAHOTELS started in the first minutes and then gained the advantage in the second half.
However, the dynamics of the Under 17 game by coach Consolini were different, despite the clear result. Against Imola, the first half was fought, ending 53-49, but in the third quarter Samb (best scorer with 24 points) and his teammates scored a decisive part of 32 -8, which went even further in the final period for a 110-69 final. Excellent performance also for Alessandro Manfredotti, author of 23 points.
