Our youth can achieve their goals through yoga: Shefali Pandya

Haridwar Haridwar. Uttarakhand state level school yoga competition for under 14, 17 and 19 age group boys and girls started at Gayatri Vidyapeeth Shantikunj. This competition was conducted under the direction of venue coordinator Gayatri Vidyapeeth Shantikunj Principal Sitaram Singha, co-coordinator District Education Officer Secondary Haridwar Ashutosh Bhandari and coordinator Chief Education Officer Haridwar Kamlesh Kumar Gupta. District Sports Coordinator Gajendra Singh said that about 500 talented players from 10 districts of the state, Dehradun, Chamoli, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar, Bageshwar, Nainital, Tehri, Almora, Almora and Pauri, participated in the competition.

The competition was started by lighting the lamp on Saraswati idol and presenting welcome song and Saraswati song by the school students. On this occasion, chief guest Gayatri Vidyapeeth Shantikunj President Shefali Pandya and Chief Education Officer Haridwar Kamlesh Kumar Gupta were present and blessed the players. In her address, President Shefali Pandya said that youth can achieve their goals through yoga and on the other hand Chief Education Officer Haridwar Kamlesh Kumar Gupta gave many blessings to the influential people present. On this occasion, Principal Sitaram Singha, Vice Principal Dr. Vinay Kumar Sharma and Administrator Yogendra Giri were present and shared the stage. Dev Sanskriti’s Sports Officer Narendra Singh conducted the stage. Umesh Bandolia, Dr. Rakesh Verma, Rohit Yadav, Rakesh Kandwal, Dr. Gayatri Gurvendra, Lakshmi Kumari, Akanksha Prajapati, Harimohan and Neelam Pu played the role of impartial judges in the yoga competition. Pawan Kumar, Arun Kumar, Alok Singh, Sachin Saini, Naveen Saini, Ravi Kumar, Yograj Singh, Alok Dwivedi, Manmohan Dabral, Dinesh Verma, Mehak Singh, Dharamveer Vinod Rayal, Mangeram Maurya, Sanjeev Kumar, Ajay Sharma, Sunita Devi, Preeti Saini, Anuj Yadav, Preeti Joshi, RL Badoni, Reena Devi, Shalu Tomar etc. attended and extended their support.
