With great pleasure, the Directorate of Sports of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology continues to thrive as the men’s badminton team secures gold for the 6th time in a row in the esteemed 11th LICET Trophy State Level Intercollegiate
Men’s Badminton Championship held on September 11 and 12, 2024, at Loyola ICAM College in Chennai.
This esteemed event brought together top collegiate badminton players from across the state to compete in a showcase of athletic prowess and competitive spirit. Throughout these two days, the athletes displayed outstanding skill and determination.
The men’s badminton team’s details are as follows:

This outstanding accomplishment is the result of our athletes’ diligence and hard work. Their triumph has made SRMIST very proud and is a perfect example of the high caliber that we aim for in our sports programs.
