English Simon Khan perfect start to the Legends Open de France with a flawless 66 on the La Forêt course at the prestigious Golf du Touquet (-6). First winner in the history of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth after benefiting from an invitation from a sponsor (in 2010), the 52-year-old Briton topped South Africa James Kingston and the Spanish Carlos Balmaseda at one point.

Jeff Remesy was the lone French under par
No Habs are in the top 10 after a busy first day of this French Open reserved for those over fifty. Single Jean-François Remesy finished under par, thanks to a birdie on his sixteenth hole (7).
