Go back and forth Shaquille O’Neal e Rudy Gobert. In an interview with The Complex, the former dominant NBA center answered a question about who worst player in the NBA. Shaq’s first answer was the French, then he “corrected” himself to the second choice, Ben Simmons. “Gobert, but Ben Simmons is one of those. If you have a contract worth 250 million, I will show that you deserve that amount. He’s one of those guys who tells you to buck the system and not know how to play. I have no respect for players like that, people think I’m a hater but I tell the facts as they are“.
Gobert’s answer didn’t take long. In X, the French center wrote a message directly tagging Shaq: “It’s sad to see someone as accomplished as Shaq, in sports and business, still be affected by someone else’s finances and accomplishments. I understand the entertainment aspect but, unlike some people, you don’t need that stuff to stay relevant“.
