Glushkova fights in Brasov, Kalatancheva dropped out

Denyslava Glushkova qualified for the round of 16 at the clay tennis tournament in Brasov with a prize fund of 25,000 dollars, after defeating the number 2 seeded Ukrainian Oleksandra Oliynikova 6:3, 6:3.

In the next round, the Bulgarian will play against the Georgian Sofia Shapatava.

The ninth seed in the tournament, Liya Karatancheva, was eliminated by the Russian Ekaterina Kazionova (Russia), after allowing a reversal with 6:4, 4:6, 2:6.
