The best small city in the world: A visit to Lausanne is particularly worthwhile right now
For a few years now, Lausanne has been attracting visitors with new museums in the art district near the train station. But a visit is also worthwhile from a culinary point of view – and currently especially because of the “Lausanne Jardins” exhibition.

If that isn’t a statement! The cult lifestyle and travel magazine “Monocle” describes Lausanne as the “best small city in the world”. This is by no means a figment of the imagination, even if the city on Lake Geneva is in the shadow of Zurich, Basel and Geneva. Lausanne is consistently ranked at the top of the Smart City Index and has also positioned itself as a “green” city in recent years. An exhibition like “Lausanne Jardins” fits in perfectly, as it has less to do with beautifully arranged gardens and is more concerned with the further development of the city.
