Stuttgart’s Ostendplatz Gets a Basketball Boost with Latest 3×3 Court
Stuttgart residents will once again have access to a vibrant outdoor basketball court at Ostendplatz, providing a free and accessible space for recreation and community engagement. The court, measuring approximately 18 by 13 meters, is set to reopen in mid-March, offering a low-threshold opportunity to exercise in public spaces
for young people and families.
A Community Hub for Basketball
The return of the 3×3 basketball court signifies the state capital’s commitment to promoting local sports and strengthening urban basketball within the city. Located in close proximity to the Ostend Children and Youth Center, the court will directly benefit children and young people in the neighborhood.
Scheduled Programs and Open Play
The court will be freely available for public use starting in mid-March. From May, a structured program, Sport in the Park
