Campano Library Expands Sports & Wellness Offerings for 2026

New Programs Aimed at Community Wellness
The Campano Library is set to become a hub for sports, wellness and creative expression in 2026, with a diverse range of new and continuing programs designed for all ages and skill levels. Registration is currently underway, with many activities beginning this week and others launching on March 10th to accommodate family schedules.
Yoga for Every Level, Including Athletes
Yoga takes center stage with a variety of styles available, including traditional yoga, flow yoga, bio-yoga, integral yoga, and ashtanga. A specialized yoga for athletes
program has been added, specifically designed for injury prevention
in individuals engaged in demanding physical activity.
Additional movement options include postural gymnastics, localized gymnastics, Tai Chi, and Kung Fu.
Dance Programs for All Ages
The library’s dance offerings continue with urban dance classes led by a new instructor. Classes are divided into age groups: initiation (2-5 years), children (6-12 years), youth (13-18 years), and adults.
Adults can also participate in a retro rhythms
workshop, featuring music from the 60s, 90s, and 2000s, offering a fun and nostalgic way to exercise.
Expanding Educational Opportunities
New language and creative courses are being introduced, including:
- Initial level English for adults
- Italian (basic level, geared towards travelers)
- Poetry workshop
- Reading and creative writing
- Theater for adults
Programs for older adults will continue, focusing on cognitive stimulation and a reflective workshop titled “My best years of life.” Mindfulness sessions will also be available.
Certified Annual Courses
The library is offering four annual courses, each lasting 100 hours and providing official certification with national and international validity. These courses include:
- Safety and Hygiene Assistant
- Inspection of parts of damaged vehicles
- Customer service
- Marketing with a specialty in advertising photography
These courses combine theoretical learning with practical application, evaluations, and required materials.
Registration and Library Hours
The Library is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. To 12 p.m. And from 3 p.m. To 7 p.m. During these hours, the free book loan service and the José Campano Museum are also accessible.
Workshop fees vary depending on the activity and instructor, ranging approximately from 20,000 to 50,000 pesos per month.
