Conference Aims to Facilitate Action in Sport and Disability

A conference focused on Sport & Handicap will be held at the Maison des Sports in Amiens on Thursday, February 19th. The event is co-organized by the Departmental Council of the Somme and the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee.

The conference seeks to connect individuals with actors, solutions or existing projects to encourage greater involvement in sports for people with disabilities. It will feature presentations and discussions led by key figures in the field.

Expert Panel to Lead Discussions

The event will be facilitated by Jérémy Houbeaut, territorial representative for the French Paralympic and Sports Committee, Suzanne Daniel-Caburet, mission manager for sports innovation and disability at the Somme Department, Benoit Berton from the Departmental Handisport Committee, and Clément Marrel from the Departmental Adapted Sports Committee.

Organizers emphasize the conference is open to all and will provide an opportunity to exchange with passionate speakers and discover sport in multiple facets. Participation is free, but registration is required, and space is limited to 50 attendees.
