SBA Veterans Shine at State-Level Tournament

The Shashidhar Badminton Academy (SBA), based in Kowkoor, Secunderabad, showcased an exceptional performance at the Yonex Sunrise Sri Gujjala Sudhakar Reddy Memorial 11th Telangana State Masters Badminton Championships 2026. The tournament, held from February 14 to 16 at the Shalini Suresh Badminton Academy in Hyderabad, was conducted under the auspices of the Badminton Association of Telangana and SATS.

Medal Haul: Gold and Silver Success

SBA players secured a significant number of medals, demonstrating their prowess in various categories. Srikanth Srinivasan claimed the gold medal in the Men’s Singles 40+ division, although Ramprasad Tulluri emerged victorious in the Men’s Singles 55+ category.

The dynamic duo of Jagganath Vanguri and Srikanth Srinivasan further added to the academy’s success, winning gold in the Men’s Doubles 40+ event.

Academy founder and head coach, CM Shashidhar, also contributed to the medal tally, securing a silver medal in the Men’s Singles 45+ category. This achievement reinforces his legacy as one of Telangana’s most decorated shuttlers.
