Tottenham Hotspur will not be offering Igor Tudor a permanent position as manager, with the club already clear on their plans for the future, according to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Tudor was appointed as interim manager earlier this week following the search for a replacement for Thomas Frank. Rather than immediately seeking a long-term solution, Tottenham opted for a short-term contract, allowing the club to thoroughly evaluate options for the 2026/2027 season.

Reporting on his YouTube channel, Romano confirmed that Tottenham’s plan for their new manager is ‘clear’. The journalist stated that Spurs will pursue a different manager in the summer, with Tudor departing upon the expiration of his current contract.

Tudor Rarely Spends Long in Jobs

Tottenham’s pursuit of a long-term appointment aligns with Tudor’s managerial history. The manager has not remained with any single club for an extended period throughout his career.

His longest tenure at a club was a 70-game spell. More recently, Tudor has managed just 24 games at Juventus, 11 at Lazio, and 48 at Marseille.

This pattern suggests that Tudor was brought in as a temporary solution, while Tottenham actively works towards identifying and securing a permanent manager.
