Yuki Togashi of the Chiba Jets emerged victorious in a record-breaking time of 21.8 seconds, securing his second Skills Challenge title. Togashi attributed his win to executing his routine perfectly, putting pressure on his rivals, and overcoming the frustration of previous losses. He looks forward to tomorrow’s main game in the impressive new arena.
“I’ve been participating in the Skills Challenge for a long time, but I’m glad I was able to win at the milestone of my 10th year in the B.LEAGUE and my 10th year in the All-Star competition. Now I can retire gracefully from Skills Challenge,” Togashi said.

MINERVA 3POINT CONTEST
Kosuke Kanamaru from the Saga Ballooners claimed his third 3-Point Contest title in overtime, outscoring Levanga Hokkaido’s Hiroo Tominaga. Kanamaru expressed happiness at winning in front of supportive Saga fans, though he felt mixed emotions about Tominaga’s overtime miss.
“I’m honestly happy. There was a lot of cheering when I entered the venue, and although I felt under pressure, I was happy because I thought, ‘Everyone is looking forward to it.’”

RELIVE DUNK CONTEST
Taku Sudo Tyrell of the Fighting Eagles Nagoya credits the enthusiastic crowd for his first Relive Dunk Contest victory. He pulled off daring dunks, including the “Three Sixty One Alley Oop” and “East Bay,” to the delight of the HAPPINESS ARENA crowd.
“Ever since I was little, I’ve always been the type of person who was able to demonstrate my abilities better if I had people cheering for me, so I was really nervous, but everyone cheered me on and encouraged me. It turned out to be a win-win situation for both parties, and it turned out to be a great DUNK CONTEST.”
