Jets End 13-Game Skid in One-Goal Games, Win Back-to-Back for First Time Since November
Jets Snap 13-Game Drought in One-Goal Games
Capping off a week that witnessed the end of a grueling 11-game skid, the Winnipeg Jets continued their turnaround by snapping a 13-game drought in one-goal games with a 4-3 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Sunday.
Tanner Pearson’s Go-Ahead Goal Proves Decisive in Third Period
Sealing the deal on the Jets’ recent resurgence was Tanner Pearson‘s go-ahead goal six minutes into the final frame, which proved to be the game-winner and marked the first time the Jets have won a one-goal match since mid-November.
“It was a great play by Josh Morrissey on the wall, and he found Tanner Pearson out front, and he buried it. That was the game right there,” said Jets head coach Rick Bowness.

Devils Drop Fourth Straight
The Devils’ four-game losing streak is their longest since early December. Despite goals from Cody Glass (2), Nico Hischier, and assists from the Hughes brothers, Jack Hughes and Luke Hughes, they fell to 22-21-2.
