“Oh, there it’s a bit hard. I had a good time with this guy. He was funny and nice… It’s a bit hard because many of those who sent me messages are international, so they were going to come by plane, and I told myself that I wouldn’t do that. So I waited for one more day, and then I came across him, and his message caught my attention.”

Fernandez, currently ranked 16th in the world, has been open about her experiences with online dating, adding a human touch to her public persona. She Continued, “When I asked him, ‘Did you see my video?’, He replied: ‘No, I didn’t see him’. His first message just caught my attention, and then I tracked him down to make sure he was real. He’s someone good, he looked nice. I then asked for the advice of his family and colleagues to make sure they agreed. We had a second appointment and we stay in contact, we will see.”
