Rediscovering the Past

More than ten years ago, I, like many of you, found myself on a journey of self-discovery. In this project, our goal was to find ‘What do I really want?’ Fast forward a decade, I attended the Starlight Yoga event, where I had a eureka moment – the jazz festival I always dreamed of was here in Seoul, right before my eyes.

From Rebirth to Realization

That night, I had the chill of a lifetime. The cool summer breeze, the rhythmic sounds of jazz, and the warm encouragement from my colleague. It dawned on me that the small hope I wrote on a post-it note during that self-discovery project was quietly blooming in reality, right here at the yoga event. The jazzy vibe at Starlight Yoga was exactly like the one I had sketched in my dream all those years ago.

Why Jazz at a Yoga Event?

To my surprise, the last mission of our decade-old self-discovery project was visiting a jazz bar and talking to musicians. Who would have thought that my long-forgotten dream would come alive at a yoga event? But here we are, Seoulites enjoying laid-back jazz after a rejuvenating yoga session under the starlit sky.
