Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd wanted to test Flagg‘s versatility by playing him at point guard, a role he’s not accustomed to.
“I will use him as a point guard. I want to make it uncomfortable and see how he reacts. He should be able to guide our game and also play in other positions.”
Despite attempted changes in his playstyle, Flagg found no rhythm, missing all five of his three-point attempts and failing to grasp the uncomfortable point guard role.

The much-anticipated matchup between Cooper Flagg and Bronny James lived up to the hype, with Lakers fans shelling out big money to watch the son of NBA legend LeBron James.
The average ticket price for the test game was $223, with the most expensive cards selling for over $3,000.
