Toluca, México – The judocas from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (Uaeméx) brought home a total of six medals from the National University Championships, held recently in Mexico. Among these, the most notable achievement was the gold medal won by Jade Pérez Tolentino, a student of Law at the Maximum House of Mexiquense Studies.

I feel incredibly happy and proud to have represented UAEMéx and to have achieved this gold medal. It was a great competition, filled with challenges, but I’m thrilled with the end result.

Three bronze medals were awarded to Samantha Carmona in the women’s free combat, kata, and team combat categories. America Gómez Casales: New beginnings and valuable lessons

Another bronze medal was attained by America Gómez Casales in the mixed kata category. This was Gómez Casales’ first experience in this type of sports competition, as she recently switched from volleyball to judo. “Judo has taught me the importance of respect, responsibility, and companionship,” she revealed.

Armando García Rojas: The power of teamwork

Psychology student Armando García Rojas also secured a bronze medal for UAEMéx. reflects on his achievement: “Judo demands dedication and teamwork. It’s through shared effort and support that we’ve been able to accomplish so much.”
