The Xiamen 2024 FISU College Students 3×3 Basketball World Cup is hosted by the International University Sports Federation and organized by Huaqiao University, Zhuque Wings Sports Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Xiamen Sports Industry Event Operations Co., Ltd. previously held qualifying matches on five continents, and eventually formed a global 22 participating teams.

After three days of competition, Vytautas Magnus University of Lithuania defeated the University of Nantes of France 21-11 and won the men’s championship. In the women’s group, Tsinghua University of China defeated Carleton University of Canada 21-15 and won the championship, achieving the “Triple Crown” of the event. In the shooting competition, Zheng Xiaogang from Huaqiao University won the men’s team championship, and Paola FLORES from the Institute of Technology of Monterrey – Toluca Campus in Mexico won the women’s team championship.
The host Huaqiao University entered the quarter-finals as the first in the group, they lost 21-13 to the third-place team Mongolian Sports University in the quarter-finals and missed the semi-finals.
