Fresh off her second consecutive win at the BWF World Tour Super 750 India Open, South Korean badminton ace Ahn Se-young has given her nation a significant boost heading into the Asian Men’s and Women’s Team Championships.

Korea Aims for Championship Gold

The Korean badminton team will challenge for the championship at the biennial event, scheduled to take place in Qingdao, China, from the 3rd to the 8th of February.

The path to the podium involves a group stage, followed by quarterfinals, semifinals, and then the final. Korea, winner of the 2020 Uber Cup, will aim to reach at least the semifinals to qualify for the World Men’s Team Championship (Thomas Cup) and World Women’s Team Championship (Uber Cup) in Denmark come April.
