“Realeague” is a sports holding company whose goal is to “bring the full potential of basketball to Asia.” Our company recently entered into a 10-year partnership with the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF). To strengthen the exchange between the top university teams in Asia, we will start a university basketball league in the region in 2025.

The signing ceremony in Hong Kong was attended by Real League founder and CEO Jintian Jay Li and AUSF Executive Director Seetow Cheng Fave. We promise to develop the league as a league that shines the light of outstanding athletes active in Asian universities and expresses the wonders of sports.

The new league, authorized by the AUSF and managed by the Real League, is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025. The Real League and AUSF will decide on the participating universities and announce the annual schedule in the coming months.

To celebrate this groundbreaking partnership, the Real League is holding the “Asia University Basketball Challenge” from November 28 to December 1 at the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Center in Hong Kong. A total of six universities were invited to participate in this competitive style tournament: Rikkyo University in Japan, Yonsei University and Konkuk University in South Korea, Tsinghua University and Peking University in China, and City University in Hong Kong.

The headquarters of the Asian college basketball league is located in Hong Kong.

■ About the Real League

Sports holding company “Real League” is focused on maximizing the huge potential of the Asian basketball world. For this, we actively invest and participate in the management of tournaments in Asia where professional, university, and youth level teams participate. In 2025, we will work with the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF) to create a regional university league. In September of this year, we held the first APAC Women’s Basketball Challenge in Haikou, China, inviting powerful women’s basketball teams from China, South Korea, and New Zealand.

The Real League also created the Greater Bay Area International Sports Business Summit. Held for the first time in Macau in February this year, it hosted over 500 prominent speakers and guests from around the world. The Real League received investment from the AEF (Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund) Greater Bay Area Fund, run by venture capital firm Gobi Partners GBA.
